Governor Brown Signs DASH - Healthy After School Program Bill

Governor Brown has signed legislation to create a recognition program for after-school programs that adopt new standards for physical activity, healthy eating and screen-time. The program, known as the Distinguished After School Health Recognition, or DASH, will recognize programs that provide 30 minutes of physical activity, serve fruits and vegetables, and limit screen time. First Lady Announces After-School Initiative
